'Interesting' is one word for it, I suppose. It certainly created a learning curve when trying to navigate this place on arrival.

I suppose that must have been the case, yes. How long did it take you to adjust?

At least two years. It wasn't until then that I felt even moderately comfortable with the technology here. [That also happened to coincide with a certain species change, compliments of the Creator...] There is a part of me that will never fully adjust--though that may have less to do with the technology shift than with other things.

Then again, that may also depend on one's definition of "adjustment". At some point the discomfort of the strangeness does simply becomes the new normal.
