[After glancing at the cupcakes she opens the box--before nearly dropping it at the sight of what was inside. She gasped, setting her fingers over her mouth in shock before lifting the obi from the box and then running her hand over the kimono beneath it... The colors and design were almost identical to the kimono she had always worn... How did he know...?]

[If kimono had been available they had not been anywhere she had access to. She had considered making her own, but by then she had become accustomed to the western clothes she had accumulated.]

[ luckily, he had found a place that tailored his kimono and constance's dresses. her meassurements were easy to tell so the kimono could be made without a hassle. as a special request, the service was excellent in finishing the clothing in time. certainly he's unaware of how this kimono resembled the one she has, and the latter he doesn't know about, either. a hunch in choosing colors, perhaps?

I have not worn one since shortly after my arrival. My kimono was torn so badly that I could no longer wear it.
